Trip of a lifetime if you are looking for an Alaskan Fishing and Hunting adventure... Larsen Bay is a remote area on Kodiak Island full of history and scenic wildlife... I brought Nick and the Howard clan 4 sunny Kona weather days adding to the Beauty of the area to be enjoyed... Fishing was non stop action until you couldn’t reel anymore.:: Hunting we harvested two Sitka Blacktail Bucks... Nicks awesome boat and fishing guide awareness took you anywhere you wanted to go... Bear 🐻 Nicks master chef cooked nothing but winter hearty delicious meals giving you the fuel needed to play all day in the wild. Bears interesting life stories added to the the mystique of living off the grid... Know what you want to do because it’s your trip and they are there to support your requests... Don’t be shy to ask and they will do their best to make it happen... Enjoy 😉 Ohh and be sure to ask Nick if you can bring him any supplies for the lodge as there are no stores in Larsen Bay and there is always something they need at Ace Hardware. Pack smart and have fun living the dream... Life is short😎

Great lodge and food . hunting was excellent fishing was fantastic caught 5 different species of fish also crab pots were very successful and duck hunting was ok weather turned to nice! Like 3 trips in one!

We had a fantastic and productive time fishing with Nick. Having never fished with an outfitter before where we stayed at their lodge, this was a great experience. We caught about 100 lbs per person! Everything was safe and clean and everybody was helpful and engaging. Will definitely use Driftwood Lodge again!

Avery- I would like to thank Captain Nick for a wonderful and rewarding experience at Driftwood lodge. We (4 guys) whom had never been to Alaska before were shown a great time fishing. We caught our limit of halibut, salmon, and rock fish. I had told Captain Nick we were on a freezer filling mission. He did not disappoint. We brought back with us almost 700 lbs of fillets. Great fun! Chef Bear kept us fed with delicious meals, including fresh catch of the day. I would recommend Driftwood Wilderness Lodge to anyone who wants to catch lots of fish in a secluded location.

If you want a laidback, rustic, fun fishing (or hunting!) experience, Driftwood Wilderness is the best! Food is hearty and delicious, rooms are comfortable and the location is spot on perfect! Nick is a great guide and knows what you need to get on fish. Bear slays it in the kitchen- everything is delicious. Sara and Daisy are the best homestead pets. Just the best place to be in Larsen Bay, Alaska!,

Captain Nick will put you on the fish!! This was a bucket list item for my dad and it did not disappoint. Captain Nick showed great patience with our ignorance to what we were doing even though we did our best to test it. We hauled in our limit on halibut every day and salmon three days in a row. This was a very fulfilled trip and experience and I highly recommend.
